Listening to podcasts is a helpful way to get inspiration in when you have a busy lifestyle. I like to tune in to various stations on my phone using an app called Podbean. The app has multiple stations and they sort them by various themes and genres based on what you are looking for. I sometimes like to click on podcasts that have interesting titles and then other times I just listen to new episodes on the ones I follow. Podbean is a free app and it’s compatible with most devices. You can download stations, create playlist, and you can also create your own podcast and gain followers through the app.
If you interested in creating a podcast this will be a good place to start. If you are not listening to podcasts and you want to make improvements in your life, this is the first place to start. Most people don’t like reading so listening to podcast can be beneficial. I love reading but when I am on the go, I listen to a podcast. I can listen to it while I cook, clean, and sometimes while I’m getting dressed for work. Searching for the right podcast can sometimes be complicated because so many people are making podcasts. Since there are multiple podcasts out there, I listed three of my favorite podcasts below along with a description of what they are and why I like to listen to them? These are the ones I listen to often and each one brings inspiration to every area in my life.
ED Mylett Show is one of the recent podcasts I stumbled upon. The podcast features multiple guest that have overcome adversity and are living their life to the fullest. ED Mylett is a motivational speaker, an entrepreneur, and successful YouTuber. He was rated as the top 50 wealthiest under 50, and he has various avenues that he participates in. His focus is inspiring others to live a max out life. A maxed-out life is going beyond your breaking point to succeed. The various guest he has invited on his show are a representation of what living a maxed-out life is. He gives excellent advice and his guest are of all different ages, backgrounds, ethnicities, and genders. I like this podcast because it invites you in to see someone’s story and they explain how they overcame adversity. This podcast is what inspires me to keep going when I feel like giving up. This reminds me that if they can do it, I can and a lot of them have been through so much. Sometimes we think we have it hard until we hear someone else’s story.
TED Talks DAILY is another podcast that I follow. TED Talks Daily features multiple speakers and they all have different career paths. What I like about TED Talks Daily is that they have interesting topics. The recent one I listen to was “How generational stereotypes holds us back at work? What was interesting about the topic is that most people put themselves in categories, the baby boomers don’t want to be associated with the millennials, the Gen Z generation get multiple backlash because they don’t belong to either generation. The truth is we are all similar and different and of course we are not going to be the same since we were all born in different generations. This podcast challenges me to think about various topics and I gain an understanding of people differences. TED is a nonprofit organization, and this is one of the many things that the company owns. The organization has a diversity of speakers from various backgrounds featured to speak and spread ideas to help people develop a deeper understanding of the world. If you love hearing interesting topics that challenge you and help you understand people, then this is a great podcast to listen to.
Lastly Gary Vaynerchuk is one of my favorite speakers. His podcast The GaryVee Audio Experience is totally different from the podcast I listed above. He uses profanity so if you are against profanity, I would strongly suggest you not listen to this. He likes to express himself so when he curses it doesn’t bother me, but I know some might not agree with it. I like that he is genuine no matter how much backlash he gets from cursing. He has a huge following and he is a successful entrepreneur. I remember listening to his story and I was so inspired and interested in learning more about him. His podcast invites you in to know him as he expresses his love for what he does. He is always pushing people to go after the career of their dreams. He features various guests that speak about business, inspiration, and various motivational topics. His podcast is informative and though he focuses a lot on the business aspects this can be helpful in every area of your life. If you are trying to improve every area of your life his business advice can be helpful with your finances, he talks about investing and various ways to make money. His guest are business minded individuals and they are successful in what they do. He speaks at colleges and all types of events. What made me want to learn more about him is his willingness to help others succeed. He is always interested in what people passionate about so he can give them tips on how to succeed. This podcast is helpful in propelling you to become successful and achieve your goals. If you don’t have an issue with cursing, I invite you to check his podcast out.
These are a few of my favorite podcast I like to listen to, but I also tune in to Oprah Super Soul Conversations, Rise by Rachel Hollis, Impact Theory by Tom Bilyeu, and a lot of others. I love learning and these are what keep me motivated to keep pushing through even when I have adversity. I invite you to start listening to podcasts. You don’t have to listen to the ones I listed, try finding ones that interest you, these can get you started if you don’t know what you’re looking for. If you want to live a life that is whole, meaning when your body, mind, and spirit are all aligned, it’s going to require you to evaluate what you listening to. If you are listening to things that are bringing you down, listening to podcasts are a good way to help you stay inspired. If you need a change in your life or you just need a little inspiration turn off the radio and tune into something that’s going to help you get through your day.
