How to balance life ?

In life the more variables you have the more complicated it may seem. For example when it was just me with out children and a husband it seem easy because all I had to worry about was myself and my own issues. I was discussing with my husband yesterday about how one of my friends who has no children or spouse is going through a difficult time in life. I thought it was easy when I only had to manage myself so  I questioned how can someone without parental and spousal duties have it hard. Then I stopped myself and said well maybe my friend did have it hard. If I put myself in their shoes I probably would want my shoes back. It may seem like life would be easier for them but there are more things to balance in life besides having a children and a spouse.

I try to live a balance life. Spending time with myself, my children, and my husband. I also try to check on my friends. Staying organized is one thing I do that helps me stay balanced. When I feel like my life is off track I start getting organized. Writing things down. Putting things in sight so I won’t forget it. We have three children so there is always something going on. If I didn’t put it in my calendar then I probably would forget it. Not only do we have events for the children but we have events that we have to attend. So trying to balance everything requires you to get organized. It doesn’t mean you have bad memory because you can’t remember every single thing you have to do in life. It’s normal. I can’t remember the dates the bills are due so I write them down in my bill notebook. This helps me because when I’m tired I can’t focus. Writing things down helps me when I’m not performing as my best self.

Living a balance life means taking care of yourself mentally, emotionally, and physically. When our bodies are not in check we cant fully function right. So take care of yourself. Try to eat healthy. Pamper yourself. Get massages and have spa days. You have to nurture yourself. If you don't take care of yourself you are more likely to suffer from mental illnesses and burnout. Burn out is the state of mental, emotional, and physical exhaustion. It is caused by excessive stressing. When we get emotionally drained and feel overwhelm. When we are unable to keep up with the constant demands, this is burn out. Taking care of yourself will help you tackle the demands of life.

Balance your priorities. Decide what's important for you in life and don't allow anything to come between it. My family is my top priority. I try to keep a balance between my work and family life. Sometimes it gets off balanced and when it does I do the things I need to do to get it back on track.  Everyone wants that work life balance. When we don’t have it we get stressed out and we worry more. In this era people are suffering from work life balance. That’s the reason why single people also go through what married or dating people and even people with children go through because they don’t have balance in their lives. When I’m feeling overwhelmed. That’s my body telling me I’m off balanced. When this happens I take days off from work or I take some time to myself and get away.

I decided to take some time off this past week from work because I was feeling that way. I needed a break and now that I took it off I feel so much better. Our bodies doesn’t function well in chaos. It needs equilibrium. I was missing my children and my husband and I knew that taking time off to spend it with them was what my body needed. That’s why it’s so important to listen to our bodies. Our bodies will tell us everything it needs. If we listen we can hear it.

Living a balanced life is important. It protects your mental and emotional state. Our bodies can only take on so much until it gives up. Living a balanced life is important to our whole wellbeing. There’s so many people suffering from mental health issues due to the demands of living a unbalanced life. When my mental isn’t in check I quickly find ways to get it back on track. Remember we only get one body so take care of it. Our bodies are our happy place. Treat it well and it will be good to you.

"Life is about balance. Be kind, but don't let people abuse you. Trust, but don't be deceived. Be content, but never stop improving yourself.
