What's holding you back?

I can't do this. I can't win. When I think about the things I have accomplished, I recall the fear that tried to hold me back. I often fight with fear. Fear of not being good enough. Fear of rejection. Fear of being judged. I started my blog to help women with the issues that I struggle with in my past and today. I understand life can be hard at times and getting back up again can be tough. When I write, its like a pep talk between me and myself and after I finish, I feel like I can conquer the world. I realized that I am the one hindering my success. My mom, my husband, and my friends can only push me to a certain point. Without stamina and drive within myself, I couldn't go anywhere. I often made excuses about reason why I didn't complete my goals. My excuse would seem valid, that I actually believed what was coming out of my mouth. I only wanted to complete task when I felt like it. What does "when I feel like it" really mean?

 

Are we so afraid to feel like doing something because of the risk that come with it. Every year I create a new year resolution, and after about three months I have given up on it. I try working out consistently, then when I don't see results, I give up. We all want instant results, instant success, but nothing is instant. Things take time to build and grow. To be successful, you have to make time for your passion. Whatever you see yourself doing successfully requires time. It takes time to build your career, setting aside a few minutes each day can be done. People make excuses for things because they don't want it enough. Trust me I'm speaking to myself. Do I really wasn't a successful blog or not? Do I  want to talk about having a successful website blog or am I'm going to work hard to have an successful blog?

 

The most successful people had to work hard to get to where they are today. There are gonna be times when you feel like you are not going to make it, but stay consistent. Consistency is the answer to success. Consistency beats failure any day. If we strive to be consistent, then we will not be discouraged by failure. When you fail at something you will stay afloat because consistency helps you keep moving forward. The worst feeling is when you allow fear to be in control of your life. Decide today to let your success be greater then your fear. My greatest fear is failure but I decided I'm not going to let it control my life. Nelson Mandela said   “The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.”

 

How to get over fear?

  • Make the decision to not live in fear! "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble." Matthew 6:34 When you make the decision to not live in fear, you don't worry about the future.

  • Be consistent in everything you do! "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." John 14:27 Try your best in everything you do.
